Decatur, Georgia rap artist Chang$ hits us with his latest mixtape effort titled Long Way Home that he worked on while on tour in Salem, Virginia. During that time, he was introduced to fellow artists Fire Flame and Q Clouds who started recording with him after vibing and throwing around ideas. They will also be making appearances on the mixtape among other guest features. For Long Way Home, Chang$ pulls out all the stops, showing his range and versatility as an artist. From the up-tempo, trap-infused “Run Up The Check” to the heartfelt “Hearts Make Home” where he gets sentimental about a love lost, he makes it a point to show listeners that he can juggle multiple styles and topics without missing a beat. The mixtape will also feature his official debut single “Do You Believe Me Now” that’s a turn-up party anthem that’s just in time for summer. If you’re looking for music from an artist who knows how to turn up but also offer something chill with a lot of heart, be sure to check out Chang$’ Long Way Home, that’s being released on June 30th.

Time for a gangsta groove. “Only thing I wanna do is hustle...” Backed by a jubilant, yet malicious key progression; Nanoon’s new, banging “All I Wanna Do” will undeniably rock your new year. A stark clap cuts into the mix every three steps, adding a rhythm to the 808s and hihats that is utterly irresistible. Nanoon himself is certainly dedicated to turning out an anthem; spitting stories on the mic about his surrounding street life, yet escalating ambition. His rhythmic, narcotic flow seizes the instrumental; and this alone leads to a radio-ready, mainstream-trap hit. Yet, when chaperoned by Nanoon’s lyricism and storytelling, the potential of this record suddenly unfolds. Not only are you getting a club-charged banger from this DMV rapper; but you’re likewise getting a taste of the Washington, DC streets as he knows them. On “All I Wanna Do”, Nanoon holds nothing back. Upon playing this titanic, trap offering, all you are going to want to do is hit repeat; and keep this gangsta groove going as long as you feasibly can.

“Out here grindin’, strivin’, tryna make a way...” the crawl of haunting piano chords guide into Hustle Gwop’s thesis; and after the SPLIVOFBEATZ drop, the full force of his single is unleashed. It becomes evident that “Make A Way” will be one of the most anthemic records emerging from the streets of North Carolina the moment its two titans begin trading bars. For two minutes and fifty-four seconds, Hustle Gwop, and his guest, Dirty Nickels, bludgeon the track with raw, tenacious lyricism. They float the gallop of kicks, 808s, snares and hihats with testimonies to their inextinguishable wills to survive. By any means necessary, the duo make it unquestionably apparent that they will thrive. As long as there is breath within their bodies— the very same breath that carries their street-worn, ravenous deliveries, Hustle Gwop and Dirty Nickels will always “Make A Way”. That attitude harbors an infectious energy. One that will jump from your speakers, lunge into your brain, and possess you to do the same.

Dynamic duo, Ron Oneal & SV Skee (otherwise known as OandS4ever) strike as new-age progenitors of cocaine rap. They have a repertoire consisting of thumping, drug-induced bangers; and that rep is only magnified with the release of the latest single, “Kilo”. “Kilo” is an ode to hustling; complete with an addictive chorus and narcotic instrumental. 808s slide smoothly across the bassline of this record, surrounded by hats, claps, and a menacing synth-key arrangement. SV Skee, through a syrupy surge of autotune, raps within the hook “They just want the money from the Kilo”, letting you know exactly where his and his brethren’s priorities lie: getting rich. And the only thing more guttural than the ambition for winning, is their delivery on each of their verses. Both emcees attack the beat in a blend of aggressive snarls, and ravenous rapping, showing that this song can not only be felt in the club, but likewise on every block in the country. Especially the Lower East Side, Manhattan ones they hail from. With the way “Kilo” is blowing up thus far, thanks as well to the visual they recently released, these brother New Yorkers are about to find themselves pleasing an entirely different clientele.

Florida spitter, Yung Booz, opens single with the mention that “An OG once told me ‘Boy, you hot in these streets when you touch that microphone.’” Four minutes later, it’s crystal clear that the man wasn’t lying. Not one bit.

“All Or Nothing”, Booz’s latest, Stackz Up Michael-produced drop is a quintessential, Southern trap smash, featuring a chantable chorus, and booth-burning bars. On the record, our Sanford soldier details just how dedicated he is to prospering; telling each and every way he’s willing to get that almighty dollar. The hook comes overflowing with that infamous, addictive, and melodically-pleasing Southern deliverance we all know and love. It’s pure, and poised to excite any crowd he may perform for. When it comes to his verses, that very same crowd just might fly into a riot. Booz brings an infectious energy and aggression to his raps. You won’t simply listen to his lyrics. You will feel every syllable he shouts, because each and every last one of them clearly come from his spirit. His unyielding spirit, the very same spirit that keeps him devoted to succeeding, gives every word its own powerful punch. If he holds on to that spirit, pushing this record with everything he’s got, “All Or Nothing” will be flying up the charts.

It was once said that stars are born and not made. It has also been said that they are born everyday, so it wouldnt surprise me if a little favor has been shown to the home of the Hollywood Stars. One listen to L.A.'s own, Hollywood Mac and you can tell he was born to be a star. Mac, who recieved his nickname in high school is dropping his debut solo single "Hundo." The L.A. emcee hops on the speaker quaking, infectious head banger effortlessly spitting bars of gold, all while keeping the club moving.

Hollywood Mac ironically spent years running a club before stepping to the mic and exercising his natural gift. Mac is the son of two musicians(father is a drummer, mother is a singer), it was inevitable that he would one day make dope music of his own. Keep an wye out for what Hollywood Mac has in store and while you wait, play "Hundo" that many times. Enjoy “Get Away” and join Hollywood Mac's growing movement today!

"Gotta hustle everyday, thats all I know—" rings like a mantra on the hook of Los Angeles rapper, RAJ WILL’s, latest, titanic single “Hustle”. This Chris Beach-produced banger has all the makings of an anthem: rhythmic flow, chantable chorus, quotable lyrics and a bouncy, trap beat. “Hustle” begins with a progression of hazy, atmospheric chords, fulfilled by a prancing, futuristic synth. These provide the melodic canvas for the beat; and soon after their introduction, a pattern of drums is splattered onto the portrait. The drums are upbeat and conventional; evidence that Beach is skilled at tailoring a simple, yet infectious vibe. What happens next is evidence WILL, our rapper, is skilled at everything else needed for a national, Hip-Hop hit. The West Coast spitter hits the beat running, dropping lyrical jewels in a flurry of conversational rhymes. "Quality over the quantity, and clarity over stupidity—" he raps smoothly within his first verse, showing just how little he cares about wordplay or metaphors.

What RAJ WILL cares most about is spitting with poise and sending a message. That message is to "Make a couple stacks, spend a bit / Make it right back, that’s without a doubt—". If ever you are feeling unmotivated, no matter your profession, throw on this two minute, Billboard-ready single and you are guaranteed to bounce right back to that “Hustle” you do so well.

This song, done by a young artiste who was destined for greatness from a tender age, shows just how you need to be up and out there pressing for what you need.

It’s an essence of easy flowing music which allows you to feel the vibes it pushes as it helps to steer you on the road of success while remaining strongly committed to the tasks at hand. Kj Da Youngster is certainly not “new” to the world of as he was always inclined to those he deemed his role models and of course which proved to be a big motivation for his single, “Dedicated”. Feel free to check it out as you start off your day with his hit for positive hustling!  -Joy Love
