"Never Up, Never Down"


Iamduss never ceases to amaze. When he goes into the booth, he comes out with magic! That's exactly what new single "Never Up, Never Down" sounds like. IamDuss tells his story, his mindset, and purpose for living over a bangin baseline and a piano driven beat by Sin V Styles. He says,"My head in the sky, my feet on the ground, Im never up, but Im never down". His conscious flow is actually so clear that it sounds as if he is just having a conversation with you directly. The song is so good in fact Iamduss believes fellow Chicago mc, Chance the Rapper, would be a perfect fit for the remix! What do you think?


This track talks about everyday trials and tribulations through life and how he has remained strong. "Never Up, Never Down" describes the state of mind he has maintained no matter the adversities he's faced. Lastly, despite his ups and downs the song describes balance. "Never Up, Never Down" will be feature on Iamduss' new mixtape "Me, Myself, & My Thoughts" set to drop in the fall. @iamduss

Sir the Baptist and On The Grind Management, in association with Black Entertainment Television (BET) Networks, are proud to premiere the debut music video from Chicago-based recording artist - SIR THE BAPTIST. "Raise Hell" is a powerful pop/gospel/hip hop record that pulls from current events and Sir's life experiences to make a statement. As Sir states, "I'm a preacher's kid. My father was a pastor, and most of my brothers are pastors. If that Charleston Pastor was my family, I would've raised hell!! There's something boiling in this generation. We're breaking all rules for mankind sake. Raise hell". Sir will be releasing a string of music videos and his debut album, PK: Preacher's Kid, in late Summer 2015. This is just the start...

The Gossip Structure releases
"Zombie" (produced by C-Sick)

Hailing from Downtown Chicago, René Valdiviezo aka The Gossip Structure is back with his latest hit, "Zombie." Produced by C-Sick, it combines metaphors of horror pop culture and zombies, with the gritty ambiance that Chicago's Hip Hop scene can provide. "This is the soundtrack to the undead regenerating on a beat that kills so hard there will be the walking dead every where," says Gossip. Lenny Gilmore was brought in to complete the photography and cover artwork. Catch Gossip live at shows this summer in Chicago and be on the lookout for his upcoming EP, Alpha.

"To The Top" With Latest Visual


Chicago-based MC, Jaylifted, is heading straight "To The Top" with his latest visual. The Steve Zilberman-directed video is from Jay's latest project, Lifted Meets World (which you can download HERE). "To The Top" reflects Lifted's daily life and expresses his ambitions moving into the future. Following a string of rapidly rising Chicago hip hop artists, Jaylifted is next in line and shows a taste of this with this final release from the Lifted Meets World project.
