The future of hiphop is here! Kidd Ray brings us a breakup song with a new age bounce titled “Gone”. Listening to “Gone” you’d never guess that this polished artist with the deep consciuos flow and perfect delivery is only 14 years old! Kidd really has a way with words as he speaks on his last relationship and moving on to bigger and better things. He shines the hardest as he harmonizes the hook, singing “Now she hitting up my phone now, hit me on the snap, but she know I’m gone now”. G the Genius delivers an extra wavy, sample influenced beat and rising New Orleans rapper, Daniel Heartless anchors the track with a rough verse. This serves as the new single from Kidd Ray’s upcoming mixtape, "It's Up There" releasing under the GWOP Inc label on 01/13/2017.
From the new generation of hip-hop, emerges 14 year old New Orleans-based rapper Kidd Ray from G.W.O.P. Inc Music Group. Kidd Ray began learning the art of music and developing his own musical style at the age of 7 years old. He was a fan of all Cash Money artists including B.G., Juvenile, etc. and was also heavily inspired and taught by two amazingly talented hip-hop artists; his father Maserati 5ive and BlaXuede. They motivated him to learn his craft and express himself through music which helped him to become a talented writer & rapper.
Fresh off the success of his mixtape "I Am Ryan Cole", he is back with an official trap anthem titled "Flex"! The song has been selected as the USA Blog Network's 'Song of the Week'. Beatmaker, Bricks On Da Beat produces the perfect piano and bass influenced track for Ryan Cole to shine on. With its dope lyrical content, Ryan's charismatic delivery, and professional sound, I could easily hear "Flex" in DJ rotation alongside other current hitters like OT Genesis, Savage 21, and Migos. What really stood out to me is Ryan stayed true to who he is, not what the industry wants to hear. You usually hear alot of drug talk these days, where as he admits not touching the work and not poppin pills. Instead he raps about every young man's dream: having fun, staying fly, and fucking every pretty chic in sight! Ryan says,"FLEX is the new movement! It's more than a song... it's a lifestyle!" Look out for the visuals to the song coming very soon. Follow @iMightJustbeHim
